I have combination skin and my T zone is often oily and dull-looking. This product effectively eliminates dead skin cells and leaves my skin bright, clear and smooth. Also, the exfoliants are so fine you don't need to scrub your skin with force to get the effect.

A great basic facial scrub, after using it skin feels polished and thoroughly cleansed. I've been blessed with oily skin, and this scrub works well for me, but could be harsh for sensitive skin types. It also does not require much scrubbing power, it does the work for you!

I used the scrub once a week, as suggested, having switched from my normal exfoliant. This one is described as being gentle, but it is far from it. The scrub is much coarser than you would expect from a gentle scrub, not like a fine sandy scrub that you would expect from the description. I massaged the scrub very softly with little pressure and found that it still irritated my skin. Yes, it exfoliates, but it is certainly not a gentle scrub. It looks and smells nice, but left my skin feeling tight and dry. I was very disappointed in this product, especially as I love so many other DHC products.
